The Green Dragon was not as crowded as it is known to be. It was in the middle of the day when most hobbits were doing things other than relaxing at a place such as this. Merry sat at a table by himself. He was on his second mug already and Pippin had not showed up.

Pippin rushed toward the Green Dragon...Late, Late, LATE!! He thought to himself. He rushed through the door, slipping and doing a somersault to land no where but right in front of his best friend Merry..."Hi..."

Merry stared back at his friend, still sitting on the wooden floor. 'If any hobbit knows how to make an attracting entrace, it's you, Pippin.' The few who were at the surrounding tables were staring at them both, startled by the commotion Pippin had caused. But, being accustomed to the hobbit's nature, they soon resumed their drinks and conversations.

'Lend an attactive entrancing hobbit a hand will ya?' Pippin said with a silly grin.

'Will you ever outgrow your tweens, Pip?' Merry asked as he got out of his seat to help Pippin up.

'Don't think so my friend!' Pippin said as Merry helped him to a seat. He ordered a drink and looked at Merry, that silly grin still plastered across his face.

Merry grinned back. 'Well, to business,' he began. 'Am I the only one that has been growing eager for another...adventure, as Bilbo would have called it?' A look of sadness flickered in his bright eyes.

'Nope!' Pippin said just as eagerly. He noticed the flicker and his smile faded for a moment. 'I say we go off on another adventure.'

'Right-o. I thought you would say that. I was thinking of returning to The Mark.'

(This isn't power playing, Legostar and I are both RPing Pip.)
Pippin's face lit up again at the prospect. 'That sounds wonderful!' he exclaimed. 'I would dearly love to see old Strider again,' he said. 'And I'd like to see how some of our other friends are getting along.'

((What do you mean by that?))
'Then let's be off, now. We need to get a head start on packing, if we want to arrive there before it starts to get cold.' He thanked the bartender and strode out the door, leaving Pippin the choice of following him or abandoning his drink, which had not come yet.

Merry, now outside the tavern, turned around and waited for Pippin to catch up to him. 'Calm down, my friend. I'm excited too.'

'Well you should be. Eomer is now the king of Rohan.' Pippin said happily as he caught up with his friend. 'What do you think about getting the fellowship back together to go and see his Highness King Aragorn?'
